Scenic Flight - minimum two passengers.

Departing from Ingham Airport – Liddles Air Service Hanger, you will head out over the valley’s sprawling cane fields to the Herbert River, following the Herbert up stream maybe seeing a crocodile or two. You will then be taken back over the Tyto Wetlands while tracking back to the Ingham Airport.


You will depart Ingham Airport towards the east via Victoria Mill Australis’s largest sugar refinery, then on to our most southern beach community, Forrest Beach. You will then head up the coast line over Taylors Beach then on to Lucinda, the home of the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere – 5.8kms. We will track back over the cane fields and up the Herbert River to the Ingham township and airport.


You will depart Ingham Airport towards the west. Out over our cane fields and cattle country towards The Great Divide. Once up on the tableland we track over some lush north Queensland rainforest before we arrive at the amazing waterfall Wallaman Falls. Wallaman Falls is Australia’s longest single drop waterfall at approximately 270 metres!

Your flight departs Ingham across the Herbert Valley to the magnificent Hinchinbrook Island. Flying over Lucinda across the Hinchinbrook Channel. We track north taking in the awesome sights and landscapes of the eastern side of the Hinchinbrook to see the waterfalls, mountain peaks and beaches. We then head back down the Hinchinbrook Channel to see the many estuary creeks and rainforests covered mountain slopes on the west side of Hinchinbrook Ranges.


We start by heading west up the Herbert River over the cane fields of Abergowrie. We fly over the Herbert Gorge checking out Yamanie Falls, then the awesome Blencoe falls, hopefully spotting some crocodiles and wild cattle. We then head east across the Great Divide into the Hinchinbrook Channel and over Hinchinbrook Island towards Lucinda.

This awesome flight takes us up the mighty Herbert River Gorge all the way to its headwaters seeing some of Australia’s best water falls.

You will take in Wallaman Falls, Yamanie Falls, Blencoe Falls and the spectacular Herbert River Falls at the top of the Herbert River Gorge. This end of the Herbert River is magnificent, and will leave you speechless with it’s huge cliff faces and big river boulders where the river has carved its path.
