Trail Description
From the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre your journey takes you out across an elevated walkway suspended above wetlands and walking through the canopies of raintrees.
The walk meanders through the incredible offerings of TYTO, before descending past inspiring artworks and into the town centre of Ingham. Wander through the town's boutique and gourmet shopping experiences, enjoy the incredible 42 metre long Mercer Lane Mosaic, discover the origins of the Pub with no Beer, marvel at the history of the canecutters, before looping back through the serene TYTO Parklands.
Getting here
The Hinchinbrook Way Walk starts from the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre, located on the corner of Cooper Street and the Bruce Highway, 750m south of the Ingham CBD. Ample parking for cars and RV's is available at the Visitor Centre, along with Free WiFi, toilets, picnic shelters and visitor information services.
